Monday 11th January - Art and ICT

ICT

Children to read through powerpoint. Using the handout (A1) complete the Tally Chart (A1) worksheet. Finally complete the Comparing worksheet, answering questions based on the tally chart (A2).

Copies of the worksheets are available also on PurpleMash. 

Either complete on Purple Mash or on Paper and send photographs of the completed work to school using the usual methods.

History - Watch the video about Christopher Columbus. You can access the video by clicking on the image below or going to BBC Bitesize KS1 Who Was Christopher Columbus?

Make some notes about him. Remember, you can pause and re-watch the video as many times as you need to.


There is some more information about Christopher Columbus on the BBC Bitesize page, and an activity to order events from his life. Please complete this activity, then go on to the task on Purple Mash.

Science - 'Living Things and their Habitats'.

Last week, we started by identifying living things, non living things, and looking at life processes. This week, we will be identifying living things, non living things.

Throughout the topic we will continue to explore life processes, we will also be finding out about local habitats, habitats within the UK, then world habitats, which will link to our work in Geography, History and Art.
