Please click on the links below to take part in today's Maths Challenge with your family.
Challenges 1-4 are aimed at pupils in Year 4. If you can, get your family to join in with you and see how many challenges you can solve together.
Please visit the BBC Bitesize Page (link below) to learn about using suffixes. Some of these words will be tested in Friday's Spelling Bee!
Please make sure you watch the videos and complete the activities on a piece of paper.
Well done for your great scores on last week's Kahoot! about contractions. Play it again and see if you can improve your score by entering the PIN 03701561.
Please read the text about Mountains in Europe. We will be learning more about mountains later this week.
Answer the questions on a sheet or a piece of paper and check your answers.
Computing with Mrs Ottley (Monday 6th July)
Mrs Ottley would like this week's Computing to focus on saying thank you to the NHS. Yesterday marked the National Health Service's 72nd birthday.
Children should create a thank you message for the NHS. This can take the form of a video, computer generated art (e.g. Scratch), poster or art work. These can be posted on Purple Mash or sent to Mr Dawson.
Spanish Taster (Thursday 18th June)
Mrs Collier's Recommended Resource: Numbots
Numbots is an online game that's super for recapping the key, basic maths skills we need every day. Playing little and often will significantly improve your child’s recall and understanding of number bonds and addition and subtraction facts. Simply tap on the picture and use your TT Rock Stars login and password to play!
Get moving! Dance along to some of our favourite songs in Year 4!
