Language and Literacy Activities

 

Share and discuss the stories below. Share them over and over again. Miss words out, for your child to fill in. Talk about the characters, how they are feeling, why they behave in a certain way.

 

           

 

Talk with your child about who is in your family, talk about how you and they have changed since being a baby. Talk about how parents take care of babies, toddlers, children and help them to grow and be healthy.

 

Discuss family celebrations, birthdays, weddings, Christmas, Easter, religious celebrations and/or family customs and traditions. Look at and draw pictures of special celebrations.
