Y6 Volunteering at Rudyard Lake

Year 6 had their first day volunteering in the local community. Whilst in the beautiful and historic Rudyard Lake, they picked litter from around the lake itself and along the track; cleared grass and built a path to the play area; cleaned the visitor centre and made a new boat mooring (which the children were allowed to carve their initials into when they'd finished). They had a great day and were asking to return when they'd finished! Amazing work Year 6! We are very proud!
