At St Mary’s we aim to make sure that all children and adults know about and have an understanding of the United Nations Rights of the Child. An important part of the work we are doing in school is to make sure that children are aware of their responsibilities in ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy their rights. This means that we regularly consider how our behaviour might affect or impact upon the rights of others; this may be in the classroom, out in the playground as well as in relation to global issues.
